Front Plates Are Back On The Car!
Member Jim Irland tips us off to a return of the penalty for driving without a front license plate. Effective September 1, 2013, a penalty of up to a $200 fine can be levied for not displaying a front (or rear) license plate in Texas. We've enjoyed the "moratorium" for the last two years without an enforceable penalty; but now the gig is up! Local law enforcement authorities are purported to be on the look-out for Texas vehicles without front plates.
