The rainfall has been tremendous. I was up at 4am cleaning gutters on the second floor roof; found a tennis ball in our downspout! ????. Lill was afraid I would get struck by lightning?. I have a river running through my back yard. Noah stopped by and offered me a ride in his classic ark, so I'm going water-skiing instead!
I'm gonna cancel the cruise. Save it for a better day. Too much rain for me to want to get out into it in a truck or a Corvette. Leave your clean cars in the garage for another cruise. We had/have some great ideas for alternates like Street Dreams in Fredericksburg (thanks, Randy) and Wendell suggested A&E Cars near New Braunfels, similar concepts. And, of course, we WILL still get to Toucan Jim's to spend "another day in paradise."
Enjoy your day. If the weather breaks any at all, Soda Pop's has a Hot Rod Night tonight and the Helotes Car Show on Monday may hold better options for my short list. Maybe yours, too.
